OUR STORY

Mak & Co candles are a family owned Australian business located in the central west New South Wales, in a little rural town called Condobolin.

I take pride and providing the highest quality in every product available in our range, I experimented with fragrance oils, many different types of wax until I came across the luxury soy wax I use today.

I began making candles in the kitchen of our family home. Soon after I had my first baby in 2016, I would make candles and gift them to family and friends, burning them in my own home and never thought to much more about it, I always wanted to start my own candle business I just never knew how to take the leap, Fast forward to 2023 I decided to jump in the deep end and make my dream a REALITY. 

In October 2023 Mak & Co Candles was launched and we have never looked back, all of our candles are hand poured by me on our family farm along side my partner and 4 beautiful boys.

We use 100% soy wax for our container candles and ecosoya wax for our decorative candles. We use braided cotton wicks which will give a slow and even burn. We strive to be as eco-friendly as possible.

As we grow and expand our current range we aim to provide the highest luxury products that compliment your space, weather it be from home, in your kitchen, your office or  your bathroom or to any workspace.

I am always working towards making my products in the most sustainable way.

Eco friendly and vegan free while creating products that will bring elegance and style to any space.

SUSTAINABILITY 

We use environmentally friendly products that are vegan and not tested on animals.

I have hand picked the safest and most environmentally friendly products to use within my small business using a natural soy wax prioritise the planet.

Our products are packed in recyclable and biodegradable packaging, our packaging can be re-used or recycled in order to car for our environment.

HAND POURED IN CONDOBOLIN

Our candles are hand poured in Condobolin NSW we use a blend of fragrance oils mixed with a natural soy wax.

We believe our candles have an amazing hot and cold scent meaning that not all candles need to be lit to get the full effect. 

Each candle is hand poured with the best quality natural soy wax.

Our decorative candles are made to order with your choice of colour or scent.

“Hello” I thought it was time to introduce myself and show the face behind the business, my name is Mikhala, I’m a boy mum to four beautiful, busy little men, raising them on the land with my partner on the banks of the Lachlan River near Condobolin in NSW Central West. 


When I’m not sitting on a tractor, or chasing sheep and little feet you’ll find me in my element taking moments and creating a range of products to fill your home with beauty complemented by scent with a variation of candles and diffusers. 


Last year I decided to turn a long term passion into a small rural business. This being our first year in business I’m so humbled to have created for occasions such as weddings, christenings and everything in between.


I love not only personalising your gift but can also personalise your scent or special orders.
